The South Elgin Police Department initiated the POC Program as a beta test approximately 9 months ago. The POC Program has greatly streamlined the process of bonding out the individuals that are brought to the department. We have not experienced any problems and would express a great satisfaction with the program. It allows the officers to reduce the time that they are off the street, enabling them to return to an available status much more quickly. It also allows the individuals who are attempting to post bond, to be able to accomplish that much more quickly. This results in a reduced staffing in the holding facility which is a definite plus for the department. I would wholly recommend that anyone considering the installation of the POC Program, move forward and experience the benefits that the South Elgin Police department has had. POC Credit Card Bond System is extremely user friendly and with a few clicks and fill-ins you are ready to process your credit card bond. If you happen to make a mistake after it is already processed it is equally simple in crediting that transaction back. I would highly recommend this system; it also takes up very minimal space.

I went through the department and trained everyone on the POC system and I received a lot of great feedback in regards to another tool to use for processing. It saves time when we can bond out directly from our station and not have to drive 30-40 minutes to the jail to drop someone off for bond call. The officers that I have talked with about the POC system are extremely happy with the program especially for its easy to use format.

In reference to the POC Program, The transition for the officers has been totally painless. They have absolutely no problems with the system. Everybody seems to carry a credit card so we seldom run into someone that cannot post bond, makes our life much easier.
